Drive circuit for pulse motor

Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to accurately operate even a pulse motor of large counterelectromotive force and large capacity at a high speed by providing a commutation reactance energy absorbing circuit. CONSTITUTION:The anode sides of commutation diodes 21-24 are respectively connected to the connecting points of the exciting coils 3-6 of a pulse motor to transistors 8-11, the cathode sides of commutation diodes 21-24 are commonly connected to form a polyphase half-wave rectifier, the cathode side is connected in series with an equivalent Zener diode circuit 25, and a commutation reactance energy absorbing circuit is composed of the rectifier and the equivalent Zener diode (constant-voltage circuit).
