Connecting circuit of drive motor in electric motor vehicle

Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the production of unbalance of motor currents by dividing motors into two groups, connecting the field coil group and armature group of the motors of the second group in series with the armature group and the field coil group of the motors of the first group to be connected to a power drive converter or a brake resistor. CONSTITUTION:Motors are divided into two groups, the armature group 3 of the motor of the first vehicle is connected in series with the field coil group 6 of the motor of the second vehicle, and the field coil group 4 of the motor of the first vehicle is connected in series with the armature group 5 of the motor of the second vehicle. These series circuits are connected via a main converter 2 or a generative control circuit having a generatively braking main resistor 17, a shortcircuit switch 18, a chopper 20 and a resistor 19. In this manner, the unbalance of the armature currents of the motor can be reduced.
